Terms of Engagement
DIVE SERVICE PROVISIONS: Our team utilizes professional manual techniques and soft-media tools designed to protect your vessel’s specialized bottom coatings while ensuring superior cleanliness.
DETAILED SCOPE: We perform a comprehensive purge of all biological accumulation—including marine algae, crustaceans, and seagrass—from the waterline to the keel, focusing on critical intake grates and propeller assemblies. Every visit includes a professional underwater assessment of zinc anodes.
MAINTENANCE FREQUENCY: Standard service occurs at recurring monthly or semi-monthly intervals, determined by the specific fouling rates found in Sarasota and Manatee coastal waterways.
RATE STRUCTURE: Fees are calculated based on the vessel’s total linear length. Please note that an initial restoration surcharge may be assessed for boats featuring severe growth or neglected surfaces.
DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY: Suncoast Boat cleaning is not liable for structural fatigue, osmotic blistering, or delaminating paint present prior to service. Our divers will provide immediate notification regarding any discovered underwater defects.
OWNER OBLIGATIONS: The client must verify that the vessel is moored in a secure, reachable location with sufficient depth and clearance for a commercial diver to operate safely.
SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT: Underwater cleaning is dependent upon safe diving conditions. PSI DIVE | Suncoast Boat Cleaning reserves the right to postpone or discontinue service when conditions are unsafe, including severe weather, lightning, strong currents, poor visibility, marina restrictions, or other safety hazards. PSI Dive LLC | Suncoast Boat Cleaning will make reasonable efforts to reschedule postponed services.
HULL COATING ACKNOWLEDGMENT: The Customer acknowledges that different hull coatings and bottom paints have different maintenance requirements. PSI Dive LLC | Suncoast Boat Cleaning will use reasonable care appropriate for the vessel and its known coating system. Underwater cleaning may cause some normal wear to bottom paint or coatings, particularly where marine growth is firmly attached.
Hull Service Agreement
1. Services Rendered: Suncoast Boat cleaning will perform expert underwater maintenance, removing marine organisms from the hull and running gear using specialized soft-touch tools to protect your vessel. 2. Service Intervals: Maintenance visits occur monthly by default to ensure peak performance, unless specific custom scheduling is requested. 3. Billing: Rates are calculated per foot of the vessel's length, with payments due immediately following service. 4. Warranty & Liability: We are not responsible for existing wear, paint deterioration, or blisters. 5. Access: The owner must provide safe dockage and clear water access.
